Ночью 17 августа Россия, используя стратегическую авиацию, нанесла очередной удар со своей территории по курортной Затоке ракетами Х-22. Разрушено более 30 частных домов в дачном кооперативе и большая туристическая база отдыха «Факел». Пострадали 4 человека. Из стратегических объектов тут рядом лишь уже выведенный из строя подъемный мост.
