In Crimea, near Tarkhankut, the Russians blew up the sunken ship «Ibrahim-Yakim»

On 16 September, in occupied Crimea near Tarkhankut, the Russians blew up the remains of the «Ibrahim-Yakim», which sank in 2010. All that remained of the once huge ship was the superstructure, which housed the captain's bridge. The depth of the seabed at this site is no more than 10 metres. It was a popular spot for divers. Why the Russians blew it up is anyone's guess. Perhaps it served as a reference point for the Ukrainian forces during the attacks.
