Drone attack on the railway station in the city of Kursk
On the night of 20 August, the Kursk railway station was the scene of an attack. At the time of the explosion there were 50 people in the building. 5 people were injured by shrapnel. Two refused hospitalisation. All of the passengers were evacuated. The roof of the station, the facade and the first platform of the station were also damaged. As a result of the blast, the waiting room and pedestrian tunnel were damaged. The city of Kursk is located 100 kilometres from the border with Ukraine. The Kursk region, together with the Belgorod and Bryansk regions, is already the target of regular attacks.
