Fire in a residential building — an architectural monument of the apartment building of Shestopal-Chernigov

On the morning of August 1, a fire starts in the former apartment building of Shestopal-Chernigov, which is located in the historical center of Odessa. The attic is on fire, the fire area is 500 square meters. Due to the layout of the attic, rescuers cannot get to the source of fire for a long time. The lesson of Asvadurov's burned-out house, which is only two blocks from here, did not teach anyone anything. As it turns out, the reconstruction of the attic was generally illegal and was carried out in violation of all possible rules for ten years. Well, the «unexpected» moment: the attic belongs to the former prosecutor of the city and deputy prosecutor of the region, Yuri Trunov. The fire manages to be extinguished by 15:20, this time there are no casualties.
