Дом Новикова

Особняк построен в центре города по заказу очень купного бизнесмена, представителя промышленно-коммерческой элиты Одессы — Александра Яковлевича Новикова. Владельца одесской канатной фабрики, а так же многих зданий в городе. Архитектор Феликс Гонсиоровский решает его в стиле позднего ренессанса с уклоном в итальянскскую архитектуру. В начале 20 века его выкупает город и начинает сдавать его в аренду. После прихода Большевиков, новые хозяева вариатируют с его наполнением, впплоть до жилых квартир в нижних этажах. После окончания Второй Мировой войны в нем распологается одесский историко-краеведческий музей.
