Missile attack on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in occupied Sevastopol

On September 22, during a meeting of the Russian military, several Storm Shadow cruise missiles hit the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in occupied Sevastopol. Local telegram channels write about at least 30 wounded from the headquarters building, who were taken to hospitals. For the Russian Federation, and especially for Putin, this missile strike is tantamount to spitting in the face. Russian propaganda is so stunned that it is simply speechless for several hours.

36 out of 43 cruise missiles shot down over Ukraine

Russian attack on Cherkassy: hotel hit by missile warhead

On the morning of 21 September, the Tsentralnaya Hotel in the centre of Cherkasy was destroyed by a Russian missile attack. The building was destroyed from the second to the fifth floor. The hotel housed people and rented out office space; there may have been 23 people in the building at the time of the attack. The blast shattered glass in houses. According to the State Emergency Service, there were 11 victims (two in serious condition) and 13 evacuees. At the same time, the Ministry of Interior put the death toll at 10. A missile warhead fell on the hotel. There was also a fire in the shopping pavilions of the nearby market.

During the night, the SBU and the Navy launched a large-scale attack on the Saki military airfield in occupied Crimea

Ukrainian missiles hit Black Sea Fleet headquarters at Verkhnesadovoy near Sevastopol

On 20 September, explosions were heard between Belbek airport and Verkhnesadovoy, near occupied Sevastopol. Verkhnesadov is a reserve command post of the Russian Black Sea Fleet - a reserve command centre of the Ukrainian naval forces captured by the Russians. Thick smoke can also be seen in the South Bay of Sevastopol and Inkerman. Explosions were also heard in the Bakhchisarai region. The governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, who was appointed by the Russian authorities, said that Crimea had been attacked by drones, which had allegedly been repelled by air defences. Traffic on the Crimean bridge has been closed.

Russia continues to shell Ukraine
On the night of 20 September, 17 out of 24 Shaheds launched by Russia from the south-east were shot down in the skies over Ukraine. Kamikaze drones were destroyed in the Sumy, Poltava, Kirovograd and Dnepropetrovsk regions. Unfortunately, there were several hits, particularly on an oil refinery in the Poltava region.
