The Russians take revenge for the destruction of the Russian Black Sea Fleet headquarters in Sevastopol by firing missiles at the Odessa sea terminal

At one o'clock in the morning on 25 September, the Russians launched a complex attack on Odessa and the Odessa region. Most of the missiles and drones landed in Odessa. The aim of the Russians is to avenge the destruction of the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol on 22 September and to create an image for Russian television viewers. A total of 33 anti-aircraft weapons were recorded during the night attack: 12 sea-launched «Kalibr» cruise missiles, 2 P-800 «Oniks» anti-ship missiles, 19 «Shahed-136/131» attack drones. Ukrainian air defences destroyed 11 «Kalibr» cruise missiles and 19 «Shaheds». Three missiles hit the Odessa Hotel building and the building next to the sea terminal, as well as the grain terminal on one of the piers.

Russia again attacks Ukraine with cruise missiles and «Shahed» drones
On the night of 6 September, the Russians launched 7 «X-101/X-55/X-55» cruise missiles, 1 «Iskander-M» ballistic missile at Ukrainian cities; 25 attack UAVs of the «Shahed-136/131» type. Defence forces destroyed 23 air targets - all missiles and 15 out of 25 UAVs. In the Odessa region, a port worker was killed in the Izmail district.

On 3 September, the enemy attacked Shahed-136/131 UAVs from the south and south-east (Cape Chauda, Crimea and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia). A total of 25 attack UAVs were launched, attacking the southern regions of the Odessa region, in particular the towns of Reni and Izmail. The Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that 22 UAVs were destroyed. As a result of the attack, which lasted 3.5 hours, port infrastructure was hit, causing a fire which was quickly extinguished by firefighters. There are preliminary reports of two injured civilians who have received medical assistance.
