The whole history of Odessa is for those who are constantly running somewhere and who never have free time. continuation

A hundred years later, history showed that history teaches us nothing - humanity again turned out to be unprepared for the attack of small creatures - microbes! and of course, Odessa wasn’t ready either. continuation

These frames of the History are about that Odessa, which should come first to your mind, when we talk about this city, but for some reason main stories are about Mishka Yaponchik, a Jewish accent invented at the Moscow Film Studio, and a vulgar vantage point from the second hatch. continuation

A number of beaches in Odessa are open to holidaymakers
On 12 August, the authorities of Odessa opened access for holidaymakers to: Caleton Beach; Inclusive Beach; Municipal Beach on the 14th Fountain; "Caviar" Beach; "Seagull" Beach; Municipal Beach on the 10th Fountain; The season is coming to an end, and Odessa residents have been banned from the sea for the second year in a row. So the mayor, together with the new head of the Odessa region, and with the support of the owners of restaurants by the sea, managed to get permission for some beaches. For the mayor, Gennady Trukhanov, and the new governor, Oleg Kiper, it's a karmic plus for their positions, but for the restaurants it's understandable. They promise to add to the list of new open beaches as soon as they are ready. People are allowed on them from 8:00 to 20:00.

Swiss artist Gerry Hofstetter created projections on the facades of Odessa's most iconic buildings!
How cool was that! Swiss artist Gerry Hofstetter created projections on the facades of Odessa's most iconic buildings! Not only did he light up the Opera House, the Railway Station, the Bank, the House of Rus, the Ukrainian Theatre and the Art Museum, but he did it as part of such an important art project as "Light is hope". It was done in honour of the anniversary of the beginning of the Russian military aggression against Ukraine, and thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the State Agency of Ukraine for Art and Art Education, and the Embassy of Switzerland in Kiev, the whole project was able to see the light. It was incredible! more
