Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the most massive attack by Ukrainian drones on the territory of the Russian Federation

On 25 August, the most massive kamikaze drone attack in the entire period of full-scale war took place in Ukraine on the territory of the Russian Federation. The Russian Ministry of Defence reports that 42 drones arrived at night in the occupied Crimean city of Sevastopol. There is no indication of how many more were in the regions of Tula, Kaluga and Moscow. All the drone attacks have targeted military installations, mainly airfields, and in Moscow all the airports have again been closed.

The GUR confirmed the drone attack on the airfield in the Kaluga region. It was attacked from the territory of Russia. According to Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, the «Shaykovka» airbase was attacked by people from central Russia. They were working with the Main Intelligence Directorate. The airfield is the base for Tu-22M3 bombers, which will be used for attacks on Ukraine.
